DLA Piper welcomes Kenneth Murphy to the Litigation Practice

DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Kenneth Murphy as an of counsel in the firm’s Litigation Practice. He will be based in the Philadelphia office.

Murphy is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in both state and federal courts. His practice includes the defense of product liability, mass tort and other related matters, including unfair trade practice and off-label promotion claims on behalf of life sciences companies and other commercial entities.

Murphy has extensive trial experience representing major multinational companies in multi-district litigation and is often called upon to try bellwether cases on behalf of these companies. He has also litigated and tried to verdict cases involving claims of professional malpractice, breach of contract, defamation, wrongful termination, and tortious interference with contract, among others, in both state and federal court in New York, New Jersey, South Carolina and Pennsylvania. Murphy is also a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.
