Seven DLA Piper partners receive 2023 Lawyers in Real Estate awards from Connect CRE

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that partners Stacie Trott, Mike Bedke, Kyndra Casper, Bryan Connolly, Brian Fielden, Keith Greenberg and Alison Mitchell were honored by Connect CRE with 2023 Lawyers in Real Estate awards. Each year, the publication highlights a select group of real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in both their practice and the larger community.

Trott, who serves as co-chair of DLA Piper’s global Real Estate practice and co-chair of the New York Real Estate practice, was one of 10 lawyers recognized in the National category. In her practice, she guides clients through highly structured corporate and commercial real estate transactions, particularly those involving European and Asian cross-border investments.

Bedke serves as location head of the Miami Real Estate practice and was one of 10 lawyers recognized in the Florida & Gulf Coast category. He represents clients in all aspects of real estate and commercial financing work and has significant experience with data center leasing and acquisitions. His clients include institutional lenders, investors, national developers and technology companies.

Casper, a partner in DLA Piper’s Los Angeles office, was one of 12 lawyers recognized in the California category. She focuses her practice on land use and environmental matters, including project management, obtaining development entitlements, land use due diligence, administrative proceedings and litigation, and she is highly experienced in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Connolly serves as the managing partner of the firm’s Boston office and was one of 10 lawyers recognized in the Boston & New England category. He focuses on real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, finance, joint ventures, land use and zoning, and he represents owners and developers throughout the entire development life cycle.

Fielden is a partner in the Atlanta office and was one of 10 lawyers recognized in the Atlanta & Southeast category. He has a national and international construction law practice representing owners, contractors and lenders in both litigation and transactional matters. His project experience includes large infrastructure, rail, energy, industrial, manufacturing plants, data centers, mixed-use developments, casinos and sports stadiums.

Greenberg, a partner in DLA Piper’s Washington, DC office, was one of 10 lawyers recognized in the Washington, DC region. He represents local, national and offshore real estate investors and developers on complex transactions throughout the US. His experience includes advising clients on acquisitions and sales, joint ventures, and financing and development transactions involving commercial real estate.

Mitchell is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office and was one of 10 lawyers recognized in the Chicago & Midwest category. Her practice focuses on real estate lending transactions, and her clients include insurance companies, banks and debt funds. She represents lenders in the origination of commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity concerning real estate around the country.
