DLA Piper advises BVP Forge in investment in two software companies: Radformation and Parsec

DLA Piper advised private equity firm BVP Forge in the investment of two software companies, both focused on accelerated growth.

DLA Piper advised BVP Forge on their recent investment in Parsec Automation Corp (Parsec), a Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software company. BVP Forge’s investment aims to help Parsec scale its platform, accelerate growth and maximize customer impact.

The firm also steered BVP Forge in the organization's strategic investment in Radformation, a leader in cancer care clinical and operational software solutions.

BVP Forge aims to leverage ForgeEdge™, their business-building program, to assist Radformation in expanding its customer growth engine, diversifying its product portfolio to encompass a wider range of cancer care workflows, extending its global presence, and exploring new market segment.

“We were incredibly excited to bring cross category experience to the table and support BVP Forge in these strategic investments,” said Eric Grossman, vice chair of the firm’s private equity group and the DLA Piper partner who led the deal team. “We look forward to continuing to guide our clients through industry-leading transactions aimed at the integration of technology and patient care.”

In addition to Grossman, the team was comprised of partners Bethany Hills (New York), Betsy Burkhard (Boston), Julia Kovacs (Washington D.C.) and Matt Servies (Atlanta); of counsel and Melissa Sampson (Washington D.C.); and associates Darren Kerstien (Seattle) and Melissa Lucar (Los Angeles).
