Eric Grossman focuses his practice on private equity, leveraged buyouts, growth equity and venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions and counseling emerging growth companies with respect to general corporate and securities law matters.

Eric also has experience representing issuers with respect to their initial public offerings and subsequent reporting obligations.

Eric has represented companies and investors in many different sectors, including telecommunications, cloud computing, wireless, computer software and hardware, e-commerce, mobile advertising and other mobile applications, web services and platforms, education, life sciences, healthcare IT and services, cyber security and intelligence, resource management platforms, medical devices and clean technologies.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Eric was a partner in the corporate group of a law firm headquartered in Palo Alto, California, where he co-founded the firm's growth equity practice group and focused his practice on representing growth and private equity investors, and their portfolio companies, as well as counseling technology companies on various corporate and securities matters. Eric began his career as a corporate associate in the Boston office of a leading law firm.
