About

Sanjay Joshi has practiced at some of the world’s largest corporate law firms for over 20 years. He regularly manages significant multi-jurisdictional M&A as well as public and private debt/equity corporate finance transactions. 

Sanjay is listed as a recognised leader in ‎Corporate Law by both the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Best Lawyers in Canada; was named a Lexpert Rising Star: Leading Lawyers ‎Under 40 (Top 40 Under 40); and is listed in the Lexpert Guide of Leading ‎US/Canada Cross-Border Corporate Lawyers, among other distinctions. Additionally, he was an adjunct ‎professor at the Faculty of Law, Queen’s University, Canada for several years where he ‎taught Advanced Securities Law.

Sanjay’s practice is principally focused on technology-driven M&A and corporate finance. He regularly assists clients in tech-based industry specializations including: AgTech; generative AI; digital asset financings and global biotechnology and drug development.

Sanjay acts for, among others, an international large-scale indoor and vertical farm; US omni-channel platforms in the health, wellness and the QoL health sciences field; several healthcare/skincare brands; and global biotechnology and drug discovery enterprises – along with routinely supporting both the investor (VC) and issuer side of various startups with significant growth potential. 

Sanjay also advises numerous global companies in all aspects of their US and Canadian stock exchange listings and public capital raising issues.
