DLA Piper Canada congratulates Hispania Resources Inc. for TSXV market opening

On December 14, 2022, Hispania Resources Inc. (formerly Merida Minerals Holdings Inc.) (“Hispania”) (TSXV: ESPN) celebrated the company’s listing on the TSX Venture Exchange and subsequent name change by opening the market.‎ Sanjay Joshi, Brendan Smith and Sophie Gadbois of DLA Piper attended the market opening alongside Norman Brewster, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Rahim Allani, Director and Kyle Appleby, Chief Financial Officer of Hispania.

Hispania is a mineral exploration company focused on mining opportunities in Spain. DLA Piper Canada assisted Hispania with its reverse takeover and listing on the TSX Venture Exchange‎ with a team that included Sanjay Joshi and Brendan Smith. The market opening ceremony marks the first day of trading under Hispania’s new name.
