Antonio Tovo joins Campos Mello Advogados as a partner in the Corporate Criminal Law, Compliance and Cybersecurity practices
DLA Piper announced today that Antonio Tovo has joined Campos Mello Advogados (CMA), which has a cooperation agreement with DLA Piper, as a partner in the Corporate Criminal Law, Compliance and Cybersecurity practices. Mellina Bulgarini Gerhardt will also join the same practices as an associate. They will be based in the São Paulo office.
Tovo brings more than 15 years of experience in corporate criminal law, representing and advising clients involved in criminal investigations and proceedings. He has advised Brazilian and foreign clients in a range of industries, including agriculture, logistics, infrastructure, real estate, pharmaceutical, healthcare, banking and finance, defense and arms, technology, hospitality, leisure and tobacco.

Tovo received his bachelor's degree in law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRS), his master's degree in criminal sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS) and his J.D. in Criminal Law from the University of São Paulo (USP).
