DLA Piper advises JUMP House on acquisition of Superfly Group
DLA Piper advised Hamburg-based leisure group JUMP House Holding GmbH on the complete take-over of Superfly Group.
Superfly Group, headquartered in Butzbach, Germany, operates nine trampoline parks in Germany and one in Budapest, Hungary; another three parks are operated on a franchise basis by independent entrepreneurs at three German locations. Superfly Group was previously held by the U.S. Utah-based Germanissippi LLC and was part of the American Circus Trix Trampoline Park Group. With the acquisition of Superfly, JUMP House becomes the market leader for trampoline parks in Germany and now operates 18 halls under the JUMP House, AirHop, UpSprung and Superfly brands.
JUMP House was founded in 2014 in Hamburg by entrepreneurs Till Walz and Christoph Ahmadi and opened Germany's first trampoline park in the same year. The company is part of the Norwegian Parc Invest AS (RUSH Group), whose main shareholder is the Equip Capital Fund I.
DLA Piper had advised on the acquisition of the JUMP House Group by Parc Invest / Equip Capital in fall 2021 and advised JUMP House Group on its first add-on acquisition of UpSprung GmbH at the end of 2022.
