Regulation

All Czech lawyers at DLA Piper Prague LLP, organizační složka are admitted within the Czech Republic to practice as lawyers (advokát) / trainee lawyers (koncipient) and are members of the Czech Bar Association (Česká advokátní komora). The rules and principles applicable to members of the Czech Bar Association can be found at www.cak.cz.

The word "partner" is used to refer to a member of DLA Piper Prague LLP, or an employee or consultant with equivalent standing and qualifications, and to a partner, member, director, employee or consultant in another DLA Piper practising entity who has equivalent standing.

Professional liability insurance

Our professional indemnity insurer is QBE Lloyd's Syndicate 1886 & others, whose address is 30 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3BD. This insurance covers our practices in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Australia, Africa and Asia and extends to acts and omissions wherever they occur in the world.

In certain jurisdictions professional indemnity insurance is required to be placed locally in accordance with statute or regulation. Where there are such requirements we have policies in place to meet these obligations, details of which can be supplied on request.

Our services

We are committed to providing the highest quality services to all of our clients. Please tell us if something goes wrong by contacting the matter partner responsible for the work.

If we are unable to resolve a problem through internal channels, our client may refer the matter to the Czech Bar Association. If, after investigation, it is found that the complaint is justified, the Czech Bar Association may take disciplinary action against the lawyer.
