DLA Piper represented San Francisco-based collaboration software company Notion in its acquisition of Automate.io, a startup that helps integrate software tools and automate workflows.

“It was a pleasure to combine our extensive M&A capabilities and experience advising on complex transactions in the tech industry to advise on this acquisition, which will enable Notion to continue expanding access to high-quality automations and integrations and better meet the evolving needs of its customer base,” said John Maselli, the DLA Piper partner who led the firm’s deal team.

In addition to Maselli (San Francisco), the DLA Piper team representing Notion included Sang Kim (San Francisco), Philipp Tsukanov (Silicon Valley), Victoria Lee (Silicon Valley) and Nathalie Hoegger (San Francisco).
