Alan Rockwell has more than 25 years of experience working on finance transactions in the US and European leveraged finance syndicated and private credit markets. He has worked on a wide range of cross-border, multi-jurisdiction US and UK secured financings involving companies in more than 30 jurisdictions and he is dual qualified to practice both New York law and English law.

Alan Rockwell has more than 25 years of experience working on finance transactions in the US and European leveraged finance syndicated and private credit markets. He has worked on a wide range of cross-border, multi-jurisdiction US and UK secured financings involving companies in more than 30 jurisdictions and he is dual qualified to practice both New York law and English law.

Alan represents leading investment and commercial banks, private credit funds and direct lenders, and other financial institutions, and he also acts for corporate borrowers. His experience includes public and private acquisition broadly syndicated and private credit finance transactions (including bridge financings), preferred equity financings, refinancings and recapitalizations, and asset-based lending. Alan also has significant US and cross border experience of DIP (debtor-in-possession) and exit financings, restructurings, workouts and corporate reorganizations (both in and out of court).

In addition, Alan has experience advising both financial institutions and corporate clients on cash management and treasury bank products services and asset, structured and real estate finance transactions. Notably, he has worked across a broad range of industries and sectors (including technology, telecoms, healthcare, industrials and manufacturing, chemicals, waste disposal, consumer & retail and financial services).
