Jeremy Sher

Jeremy has a diverse practice. He conducts litigation and international arbitration relating to corporate governance, M&A, transaction structuring, due diligence, civil fraud, environmental and social credentials, disclosures and reporting (including greenwashing allegations), market transitions and supply chain issues. Jeremy works to mitigate disputes by conducting risk assessments, developing pre-litigation plans, handling contentious aspects of corporate transactions, responding to investor queries about major disputes, developing responses to public campaigns and helping to manage crises. Jeremy has specific expertise assisting managers and investors with disputes at portfolio and fund levels.

Jeremy also leads DLA Piper's class actions and collective redress practice outside the Americas. He has experience coordinating global defence strategies across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Jeremy has defended class actions relating to consumer protection, business and human rights, securities, corporate governance, product liability, environmental protection, data, employment status and competition. Jeremy is a frequent speaker and author on collective litigation topics.

Jeremy worked in politics and public policy before practising law. He provides pro bono support to environmental and legal charities.
