EXPERIENCE

  • Advising on unopposed and opposed renewal proceedings, in particular the ability to rely upon grounds (g) and (f) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
  • Advising on validity of break notices and statutory notices and preparing the same. 
  • Undertaking Professional Negligence claims against legal advisors where statutory deadlines pursuant to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 have been missed. 
  • Assisting with dilapidations settlements and advising on strategy for negotiations.
  • Drafting and managing possession claims through the County Courts and seeking enforcement via the High Court when required.
  • General assistance with asset management acting on behalf of Landlords and Tenants, including advising on debt recovery options and contractual disputes.
Education
  • University of Law, Leeds, LPC with MSc in Law, Business and Management, Distinction
  • University of Sheffield, Degree in Law (with a year abroad), First Class Honours
