Sarah Carrier practices product liability, mass tort, and commercial litigation with a focus on the areas of pharmaceutical and consumer products. Sarah represents companies in global, national, and transnational lawsuits or regulatory matters. Sarah advises clients at all stages of litigation, including through written discovery, depositions, authoring and arguing dispositive motions in state and federal courts, and appeals assistance. Sarah also regularly serves on trial work up teams on behalf of product manufacturer clients.

Prior to joining DLA, Sarah was in-house counsel for a multinational retail corporation, where she managed lawsuits throughout the Northeast United States.

Pro Bono

Sarah works on a variety of pro bono matters, including most recently drafting a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in support of Amici Curiae state court judges seeking Petitioner relief under the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act. Sarah also regularly works with immigrants seeking to obtain permanent residence in the United States.

Prior Experience

Sarah began her legal career at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington D.C. before joining a large law firm located in Atlanta, Georgia. Sarah regularly speaks and writes on new topics in the class action space and has been recognized as a Rising Star in the area of Business Litigation. A native of Atlanta, Sarah is actively involved in the Georgia legal and business communities, including through serving as the Chair of the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association's Women's Leadership Network.
