DLA Piper enhances its Corporate team in Spain with the appointment of White & Case partner

DLA Piper has strengthened its Corporate capability in Spain with the appointment of a new M&A and Capital Markets partner in its Madrid Office. Yoko Takagi will join the firm from White & Case today, 16 September.

Yoko has over 23 years of legal experience and is recognized as a leading lawyer in Spain for her expertise in M&A and capital markets.

Yoko advises a range of clients on cross-border transactions, capital markets, and corporate finance. Her clients are primarily focused on the infrastructure, and energy and financial services sectors, and comprise of private equity funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, companies, sponsors, and international financial institutions. She advises public and private sector clients on brown-, yellow-, and greenfield projects, along with clients in the financial services sector, a focus on matters with a sustainability focus. Her transactions include complex investments to structure acquisitions.

Beyond her professional duties, Yoko actively supports DEI initiatives, and will assist various DLA Piper initiatives, including the firm's pro bono practice.
