DLA Piper Canada welcomes associate Arad Mojtahedi

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP welcomes Arad Mojtahedi to the firm’s Restructuring group.‎ Arad’s practice covers all areas of corporate and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on insolvency and corporate restructuring matters. 

Arad frequently represents the interests of public and private companies, trustees, monitors, investors, creditors, shareholders, directors and various other stakeholders in restructuring matters. In this capacity he has appeared before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Arad is a frequent speaker on restructuring matters, and a contributor to the Annual Review of Insolvency Law and the looseleaf volume JurisClasseur Québec – Bankruptcy and Insolvency (French) published by LexisNexis.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Arad practiced at a global law firm. Arad received his law degree (BCL/JD) from McGill University and completed a Certificate in the introduction to Chinese law from the China University of Political Science and Law.
