DLA Piper advises ZEDRA on acquisition of accounting and corporate services provider Blackstones

DLA Piper has advised ZEDRA, a portfolio company of Corsair Capital and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, on its acquisition of Blackstones, a provider of full-service outsourced accounting solutions for businesses. The acquisition will enhance ZEDRA's presence in corporate and global expansion services.

Blackstones' offering includes accounting and reporting, HR and payroll, company formation, and corporate services. The acquisition will see ZEDRA welcome 178 Blackstones' employees from their offices spread across major cities in Poland.

Established in 2016, ZEDRA is one of the fastest-growing global providers of Corporate & Global Expansion, Active Wealth, Pensions & Incentives and Fund services. ZEDRA’s clients include high net worth individuals and families as well as medium to large sized companies, pension funds and trustees, asset managers and their investors.

A team from DLA Piper's Warsaw office worked on the transaction and was led by Piotr Miller, partner in the Corporate practice. He was supported by senior associate Michał Sowiński, counsel Izabela Gębal, associate Michał Celiński and junior associate Aleksander Stanek.
