Potential updates to the Argentinian Tax Table in the wake of the presidential election

The tax and FOREX systems were a major topic of debate in the runup to Argentina’s recent presidential election. During the campaign, Javier Milei, the eventual winner, proposed dramatic changes in the tax and FOREX market arenas.

On December 14, DLA Piper hosted a webinar with DLA Piper Argentina’s Tax Partner Augusto Mancinelli, who shared with us his perception on the possible extent, timing, and feasibility of upcoming changes and further discussed solutions to existing technical challenges under the existing FOREX regime.
