Financing the energy transition

DLA Piper’s Energy Sector is pleased to host a dinner event, Financing the Energy Transition, on November 30, 2023 in New York City. Martin Toulouse, Deputy Chief Counsel of the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, will join DLA Piper partner Oliver Wright for an engaging discussion.

Among the topics they will explore are:

• key sectors eligible for DOE funding
• opportunities for additional financing parties to work alongside the DOE and
• challenges for emerging technologies in project financing.

Oliver and Martin will offer practical guidance on working with the DOE, from application and negotiation to loan maintenance. The discussion will be moderated by Bob Gruendel, Global Co-Chair of our Energy Sector.
