Billy regularly acts for banking and financial institutions and multinational corporations across a broad range of sectors including energy, insurance, life sciences, logistics and transportation and technology in proceedings at all levels of courts as well as in international and domestic arbitrations. Billy has also advised clients on regulatory and compliance matters.

  • Advised liquidators and receivers on loan restructuring exercise and asset recovery projects with multi-jurisdictional elements.
  • Advised on shareholders' disputes involving companies in multiple jurisdictions in a series of court proceedings.
  • Acted for an investment fund in arbitration proceedings in relation to a joint venture agreement.
  • Advised financial services clients on contractual disputes including rendering legal opinion on interpretation of contractual provisions and litigation risks.
  • Advised a logistics and transportation client on the compliance perspective in respect of various agreements concerning rules of regulatory bodies.
