Dual-qualified in New York (US) and Indonesia, Andhari has extensive experience advising on transactions governed by New York law and Indonesian law. She is multilingual, and drafts and negotiates confidently in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
As a core member of the firm’s Indonesia practice, Andhari frequently helps multinational clients navigate current and emerging regulations applicable to their proposed business expansion in Indonesia and wider Southeast Asia. Drawing on her sophisticated regulatory knowledge and in-depth experience, she provides comprehensive counselling on the clients’ proposed local operations including foreign investment regimes, joint ventures and licensing requirements, product registration and certification, and regulatory submissions, particularly for companies operating in regulated sectors such as telecommunications, financial services and healthcare.
Her experience at DLA Piper includes a client secondment at one of the largest global technology companies, advising on their business expansion in the APAC region.
Lastly, Andhari is committed to serving clients on a pro bono basis. Her pro bono work includes advising the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, a department of the Secretariat of the United Nations that works to promote and protect human rights, on their research on prison reform measures in Indonesia. She recently worked on a project with UNHCR to research financial inclusion regimes available to refugees and asylum seekers in the region.
Prior to joining DLA Piper, Andhari worked in prestigious international law firms in Jakarta, London and Singapore.
