Aliyyah Muhammad is an associate in DLA Piper's telecommunications practice. She is particularly focused on telecom transactions and wireless and global satellite regulatory matters. Among other things, Aliyyah has played a lead role in developing the most recent version of DLA Piper's popular digital publication, Telecom Laws of the World. Prior to joining DLA Piper as an associate, she was selected to participate in Latino Justice's Corporate/Law Firm Alliance Summer Program, where she gained experience working at both T-Mobile and DLA Piper over consecutive summers.
Aliyyah earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School where she received the 2023 Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for Debtor & Creditor Law and the Dean's Pro Bono Publico Award for Exceptional Service. Also, she minored in Arabic and has Arabic language skills.
