Stephen R. Morris

Stephen Morris practises real estate law and banking and financial services law with a concentration on commercial real estate.

Stephen’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real property transactions, including the financing, development, acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. Stephen represents builders and developers on land and building projects using various partnership, joint venture and co-ownership structures, and acts on behalf of financial institutions in respect of acquisition, development and operations financing.  Stephen has also represented mining companies in respect of land acquisitions and financing associated with mining projects.  His practice also involves assisting clients with commercial leasing matters, be it in the realm of office, industrial or commercial retail space.

Stephen also works with the Banking & Financial Services Group, focusing on asset and share acquisitions and dispositions involving commercial real property matters.

Before joining the firm, Stephen practised commercial real estate law at a national firm in Toronto.
