Amanda McCaffrey focuses her practice in ESG and environmental litigation and regulatory law, advising clients on a wide range of issues including compliance, commercial disputes, class actions, sustainability goal-setting and reporting, and other matters.

Amanda counsels businesses of various sizes across numerous sectors on environmental regulatory issues and private disputes. She specializes in navigating complex regulatory issues and emerging topics, including PFAS, microplastics, sustainable recycling practices, extended producer responsibility, emissions and climate risk reporting, and multilateral climate diplomacy. Drawing on her experience working with intergovernmental bodies, government agencies, and human rights organizations, Amanda frequently analyses sustainability risks and opportunities for clients across domestic and international jurisdictions. 

Amanda is an alumna of DLA Piper’s Krantz Fellowship program, which allowed her to devote her first year of practice to pro bono service. She also sits on the firm’s North American and Northern California Pro Bono Committees.
