Dr Tom Lasar advises national and international clients in all areas of corporate law as well as group and transformation law. He focuses on advising on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including private equity and venture capital investments, restructurings, and joint ventures.
EXPERIENCE
- Advising Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., the global Japanese manufacturer of mobility solutions, on the acquisition of Torqeedo Group, a manufacturer of electric marine propulsion systems.
- Advising sports and entertainment consulting firm Elevate Sports Ventures Inc. on the acquisition of SRG 2016 Limited, a global executive search and talent consulting firm.

Prior Experience
- Tom worked as a research associate in DLA Piper's Corporate / M&A practice for several years. From 2021 to 2023, he completed his legal clerkship with stages at, inter alia, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs in Berlin, DLA Piper in Paris and BASF in New York.
