Rocio is a certified lawyer in Spain and experienced tax advisor with over six years of experience in Europe and Middle East.
Rocio has a wide experience in assisting clients with complex tax matters, including International Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax and Indirect Taxes. She has been actively involved in large cross-border transactions, both on the sell side and buy side, for large corporations and private equity investors, where she gained a broad experience in conducting Tax Due Diligence and assisting clients in the framework of M&A transactions.
In the Middle East region, she has advised clients on UAE-related tax matters but has also provided advice on tax matters related to other jurisdictions, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman, which has allowed her to obtain an in-depth knowledge of the overall tax landscape in the region.
Her experience in European jurisdictions, combined with her years of experience in the Middle East has allowed her to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex tax laws and regulations in various jurisdictions worldwide, contributing to her technical capabilities, which combined with a solution-oriented approach, has been key to delivering high-quality advice to clients.
