Sam is a patent litigation trial lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience over a broad range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, semiconductors, optical networking, 3-D capture and display, hard disk drives, telecommunications, and cybersecurity.

In addition to his work on patent litigation matters, Sam has trial experience on commercial litigations and arbitrations, including cases involving trade secrets, antitrust, and royalty disputes. 

Sam is also a registered patent attorney with experience in Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

While in college, Sam gained technical research experience working at Lucent Technologies – Bell Labs.  While in law school, Sam worked for the in-house legal department of a semiconductor research and manufacturing company.
