Anahita Anvari

Anahita ("Ana") Anvari is a member of DLA Piper's Healthcare Industry team. Ana represents clients in the healthcare industry through a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters, including mergers & acquisitions and corporate governance. She advises clients on regulatory compliance under federal and state law, including compensation structures, corporate practice of medicine, licensure, scope of practice, fraud and abuse, HIPAA and Part 2. Ana regularly counsels on healthcare regulatory issues for complex transactions, including managing due diligence.

Ana’s practice experience features a variety of clients including private equity firms, healthcare systems, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, health care technology groups, physician groups, medical spas, and other healthcare companies. Ana's experience includes managing and advising pharmacies in licensure processes and on controlled substance laws.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Ana worked as an associate in the healthcare practice group of AM Law 100 law firms in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. In law school, Ana served as an Editor of the Penn State, Dickinson Law Review, a Fellow of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group, and is a member of the Woolsack Honor Society.
