DLA Piper welcomes Alicia Hickok as of counsel in the Litigation Practice

DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Alicia Hickok as Of Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Practice. She will be based in the Philadelphia office.

Hickok represents public entities as well as for-profit and nonprofit companies and individuals and has handled more than 50 appeals in state and federal appellate courts. She is widely recognized as one of the most experienced and skilled appellate litigators nationally and in Pennsylvania and has been recognized by Chambers USA with a Band 1 ranking for Litigation: Appellate in Pennsylvania.

She has argued extensively in all of Pennsylvania’s appellate Courts in cases that have decided important points of state and federal constitutional and statutory law, product liability, administrative, and contract law. Hickok has argued appeals in other states and in several of the federal Courts of Appeals, as well as providing amicus and merits briefing in the US Supreme Court. She holds positions with the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Appellate Court Procedural Rules Committee.

Alicia’s arrival further cements DLA Piper as the destination for appeals in Pennsylvania and beyond.  We are delighted that our clients will have the benefit of Alicia’s meticulous and highly skilled approach to appellate litigation,” said Ilana Eisenstein, chair of DLA Piper’s Litigation practice.
