DLA Piper advises EQT Ventures on investment in Berlin packaging startup Packmatic
DLA Piper has advised EQT Ventures on a EUR 15 million Series A financing round for Berlin-based startup Packmatic, a leading digital purchasing platform for packaging in Europe. The financing round was led by EQT Ventures, with other investors including HV Capital and xDeck as well as the founders of Zalando as business angels. A large part of the investment will be used to further expand the supplier network and the company's presence in Europe.
More than 100 medium-sized companies and fast-growing digital companies use Packmatic to achieve sustainable savings potential and optimize their packaging in accordance with current sustainability standards. With more than 300 packaging suppliers, Packmatic has access to the largest supplier network in Europe connecting businesses to packaging suppliers with just a few clicks using its proprietary smart matching technology.
