DLA Piper advised Cepheus Growth Capital Partners on the acquisition of a minority stake in Komari Group.
Komari Group produces and distributes a range of alcoholic beverages (hard-seltzer) for the East African market, specifically in Ethiopia. The holding company is based in Frankfurt am Main.
The investor Cepheus Growth Capital Partners, based in Addis Ababa and New York, specializes in providing growth capital for Ethiopian companies. Besides providing capital, the firm also delivers management and operational expertise to its portfolio companies and assists them in the adoption of strong environmental, social and governance standards.
