DLA Piper’s construction team has one of Norway’s largest and leading professional environments in the specialist field of construction law. In addition to heavy construction law expertise and experience in litigation, our lawyers have a fundamental understanding of the sector’s strategic and commercial objectives.
One reason for this is that several of our lawyers have in-house experience from the largest companies in the sector. This gives us a better insight into also the commercial side of the construction industry and a realistic approach to our clients’ needs. These prerequisites help us to find the best legal and commercial solutions to our clients’ challenges. We have extensive experience in assisting most of the players in the construction industry: the main contractors, consulting firms, architects and builders. The bulk of our workload comes from some of Norway’s largest construction firms, that we have assisted for a number of years.
Our experience ranges from large international construction projects within infrastructure, to smaller local projects within the residential and commercial sector. We undertake all kinds of assignments within the construction sector, where advising in the contracting phase and final settlement phase stands central.
