Juan Carlos specializes in advising national and foreign companies in the process of acquisition or sale of companies of diverse nature and business (fishery, agriculture, development and operation of infrastructure, energy, mining, among others), including the preparation and management of due diligence processes and documents necessary for the execution of transactions (purchase and sale of shares, investment agreements, shareholder agreements, among others).
Among the most important transactions in which he has participated directly during his career, mention should be made of the advice for the purchase of shares of Línea Amarilla S.A.C. (infrastructure) by the Vinci Concessions group, purchase of shares of Ferush S.A.C. (hydrocarbons) by Puma Energy, financing and partial purchase of shares of Agrícola Cerro Prieto S.A. by the Municipal Employee's Retirement System (MERS) and the sale of shares of Inca Rail S.A.C. (tourism) in favor of the Carlyle Fund.
Additionally, Juan Carlos has extensive experience in advising local and international companies in the formulation and obtaining of mining concessions, acquisition and sale of mining projects, including the development of these in all its stages. Within this area, Juan Carlos has also actively participated in the negotiation and preparation of mining agreements for the exploration, exploitation, transport and benefit of minerals.
