About

Lauren Murdza is a corporate attorney who advises life sciences, healthcare, biotech, medical device and technology companies and universities, in connection with technology transactions and general corporate matters. She represents clients in a broad range of commercial and corporate activities, including early-stage licensing and development agreements, global collaboration and promotional agreements, product acquisitions and divestitures, merger and acquisitions and private company financings.

Lauren's clients range from emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 companies in the US and Europe, specifically in the life sciences and technology sectors.

In addition, Lauren advises clients on day-to-day commercial agreements, such as research and development agreements, clinical trial agreements, joint development agreements, licenses, manufacturing and distribution agreements, promotional agreements, joint ventures and corporate partnering arrangements. She has a depth of experience in commercial contracts and management of large commercial contract portfolios for global clients.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Lauren was a corporate attorney at a large international law firm. She began her legal career as an associate at an intellectual property boutique representing clients in the life sciences and technology sectors in connection with their intellectual property needs. During law school, Lauren worked at a clinical research services organization. Before attending law school, Lauren interned in the legal department of a pharmaceutical company.
