Christine Ellice advises consumer financial services, banking, securities, and technology companies on commercial litigation and class action defense matters. Christine has extensive experience defending class actions. Christine has represented financial services companies, banks, and national retailers in state and federal class actions. These matters include a variety of state and federal statutes including federal securities laws, California consumer protection statutes, and federal banking or credit reporting laws. Christine handles resolutions at all phases of the life cycle of a class action case, including trial. Notably, Christine served as trial counsel in the landmark consumer protection case, TransUnion LLC v. Ramirez, 141 S. Ct. 2190 (2021), trying the case to a jury verdict in the Northern District of California.
Christine is deeply committed to her pro bono work, having represented clients in asylum, human trafficking and other immigration cases since her first year of practice. She serves as lead trial counsel for asylum cases contested by the Department of Homeland Security.
