DLA Piper advises Hurb Technologies S.A. in financing for the development of a green autonomous vessel project

DLA Piper, in cooperation with Campos Mello Advogados, advised Hurb Technologies S.A in the negotiation of investment instruments executed with Tidewise, a technology company based in Brazil and leader in autonomous boats, with the purpose of financing the development of an innovative project to provide autonomous and ecologic waterborne transportation to passengers through the canals of Rio de Janeiro.

The new partnership will explore the city’s waterways to connect tourist attractions and important centers, such as sugar loaf and downtown Rio, the Peninsula in Barra da Tijuca and the Jardim Oceânico subway station.
