On Monday, February 26, The Honorable Nancy Victory, Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s US and Global Telecom practice, will be a featured speaker at the opening regulatory session on the Five Years of 5G: Insights for Policymakers. She will be joined by keynote speakers Minister Wissing (Germany) and Secretary Mittal (India).
The global telecom landscape has undergone significant changes. According to GSMA Intelligence, mobile operators are expected to spend $1.1 trillion on capex from 2020-2025, mainly on 5G. With 2023 marking 5G's introduction in 30 new markets and an increase in demand for low-cost private5G in industries, the session will discuss optimal strategies to leverage 5G'spotential, considering different regional markets and the essential role of supportive policies.
