Johanne Ward

Johanne is an Associate in the Leeds office of DLA Piper and part of the Planning team within the Real Estate Group. 

Before joining DLA Piper, Johanne worked for many years as a regulator within local government, initially as a Licensing Enforcement Officer and later as an Environmental Health Officer. 

In her role as an Environmental Health Officer, Johanne acted as a consultee on planning applications, including those for major energy infrastructure projects. She dealt with a full range of environmental matters, specialising in noise and pollution.

Since becoming a planning solicitor, Johanne has provided advice on a variety of matters to clients both in the public and private sector.
