Paulina's practice focuses on high-stakes intellectual property litigation matters, particularly Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission. Paulina has experience representing a broad range of clients including large international companies as well as solo inventors and universities. Paulina's experience includes representing parties on both the complainant (plaintiff) and respondent (defendant) side, allowing for constructive counseling concerning both offensive and defensive litigation strategy.

Paulina's practice spans a broad range of industries and technologies, including LED lighting devices, mobile electronic devices and chipsets, software, consumer goods, as well as solar, automotive, and medical devices. Paulina's litigation experience spans all phases, including pre-suit diligence, discovery management, expert discovery, motions practice, pre- and post-trial briefing, preparation for and participation in trials, and appeals. She also represents clients in federal district court and in proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Prior to joining DLA, Paulina worked in an international law firm in Chicago where she represented clients in patent litigations at the ITC, district court, and the PTAB. While in law school, Paulina served as an executive production editor on the AIPLA Quarterly Journal. Paulina was also a student clerk for the Honorable Jimmie V. Reyna of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable Gerald R. Rosen of the District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and an intern at the Office of the United States Trade Representative, Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation.

Paulina was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Managing Intellectual Property (2021).
