Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Philipp gained years of practical experience in the fields of data protection law, IT law, and copyright law.

During his legal traineeship, he worked in two leading international law firms in Hamburg focusing on data protection law as well as in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Berlin on platform, digital services, and media industries regulation.

Before that, Philipp was a research assistant at the Institute of Business Law and Media Law at the Chair of Prof. Spindler, University of Göttingen.
