About

Francesca Pole is a data, privacy and cybersecurity lawyer. She advises multinational clients in the technology and retail sectors on data strategy and compliance.

Francesca supports clients in finding practical solutions while navigating the complex European digital regulatory landscape. Her understanding of new and emerging technologies and practical experience allows her to drive initiatives and projects involving data protection compliance, data transfers, e-privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

Francesca is a solicitor in England & Wales and has been working as a foreign qualified lawyer in the Netherlands since 2019. She continues to apply her experiences from working in the UK to bridge the gap between the English and European privacy landscapes.

Her experience working on large scale compliance projects following the launch of the General Data Protection Regulation has led to a deeply ingrained knowledge of European privacy law and its application in practice. She now applies the same experiences to preparing organisations for compliance with the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.

She is an active member of the International Technology Sector Practice and AI sub-group.
