Angele covers the full breadth of commercial, regulatory and technology-related matters, with primary focus on outsourcing and technology transactions, data privacy and cybersecurity, electronic payments and fintech, telecommunications and related regulatory advice.

She has extensive experience supporting clients on negotiating and concluding strategic commercial matters, including large-scale outsourcing agreements, digital transformation projects, supply/distribution arrangements, cloud deployment, e-commerce platforms and other commercial contracts for a wide range of services and collaborations. She also advises clients on strategic data compliance framework projects.

She advises financial institutions and multinational corporations across a range of sectors, including consumer goods and retail, technology and telecommunications. Clients highly appreciate her ability to deliver tailored, commercially focused advice.

  • Advising a major insurtech company on the first-generation business process outsourcing of its APAC, EU and Americas business. 
  • Advising one of the largest commercial banks on its data privacy transformation programme, including refreshing group data protection strategies and aligning practices with compliance risks across business units and jurisdictions.
  • Advising a leading international software systems provider on a large-scale information technology project in respect of the implementation of hospital software and related IT services, in which the client acted as prime contractor.
  • Acted as legal advisor for a global consulting firm in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s inaugural e-HKD pilot programme, supporting on the legal and regulatory aspects of the use case titled “tokenised property-backed secured lending with ring-fenced usage".
  • Advising a well-known Chinese technology company on a broad spectrum of global IT commercial collaboration projects and implementation initiatives.
