  • Press and freedom of expression law: Ongoing advice for and representation of leading German media groups.
  • Reputation management / crisis communication: Advice and representation of various companies in disputes with German and foreign media. Targeted combination of legal and communication methods through close cooperation with PR agencies.
  • Social media law, in particular advising and representing influencer/content creator in cases of business-damaging statements by competitors on social networks.
  • Enforcement of injunctive relief claims against a leading AI service provider for incorrect AI-generated content (‘hallucinating AI’).
  • Enforcement of claims for violations of the Trade Secrets Protection Act because of unauthorised downloading of customer data by former employees.
  • Competition law advice and representation of a large e-commerce company in disputes with competitors and consumer organisations.
  • Enforcement of delisting claims against Google.
  • Action against various online reviews.

Prior Experience

  • Before joining DLA Piper, Anika Kruse already gained practical experience in all areas of media law. During her legal traineeship and as a research assistant she worked for various international commercial law firms as well as for a public broadcasting company.
