Clara Knapp focuses her practice in the area of corporate law, securities law and mergers and acquisitions.
Clara’s practice includes advising emerging growth and middle-market public companies on various corporate and financial matters, including equity and debt financings, governance, compliance and general corporate transactional matters. She has experience in capital markets and has assisted issuers with public offerings involving the use of special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). She also has experience advising private companies in venture capital financings and strategic acquisitions.
Clara has advised clients in a variety of industries, with a particular emphasis on the technology and healthcare sectors.
Clara devotes a significant amount of time to pro bono work, focusing on immigration and non-profit organizations. Her work has included advising non-profit organizations on formation and governance matters, as well as helping an Afghan woman judge seek asylum as part of the firm’s Signature Pro Bono Project.
