Ishita Kashyap

Ishita is an experienced capital markets lawyer with a practice focused on corporate finance, mergers and ‎acquisitions and general corporate transactions. She frequently advises clients across a variety of ‎industries including technology, mining and healthcare. ‎

Ishita’s practice spans a variety of corporate and securities law matters including private placement ‎financings, public offerings, stock exchange listings, reverse takeovers, corporate governance matters ‎and continuous disclosure requirements. Earlier in her career, Ishita gained international and cross border ‎experience practicing at a full service national law firm in New Delhi, India for several years. During this ‎time, she represented global issuers, security holders and underwriters on domestic and foreign initial ‎public offerings and other equity and debt capital raising transactions. Many of these transactions ‎involved novel features and creative pathways through India’s securities laws. ‎

As a young member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Charity and Not for Profit Law Section in 2020, she ‎led an initiative to introduce Charity Law courses across law schools in Ontario.‎
