Jon Ikegami

Jon Ikegami has over two decades of experience in strategic patent counseling, domestic and foreign patent prosecution, and patent litigation in federal courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He additionally conducts intellectual property due diligence and provides opinions on patent validity and infringement. 

Jon has represented companies in intellectual property disputes involving complex computer, electronic, and mechanical technologies, ranging from hard drives to computer architecture, flash memory, GPS, cloud computing, machine learning and IoT devices. He uses his extensive background in both patent prosecution and litigation to focus on in-depth evaluations of every procedural and technological aspect of a case. 

Jon frequently assists companies in intellectual property licensing efforts, platform patent evaluation filings on behalf of both patent owners and asserted infringers, patent portfolio diligence and valuation, and intellectual property strategic guidance.

He has completed graduate computer science coursework in machine learning and artificial intelligence and is proficient in several commonly used computer languages.
