Murad advises national and international corporates and investors on complex national and cross-border M&A-transactions, Distressed-M&A and joint ventures as well as on German stock corporations, take-over and related capital market law and corporate governance matters.

He has a special focus on corporate real estate and infrastructure matters. Murad has advised on several domestic and cross-border real estate and energy transactions and has broad domestic and international experience in advising on sales and purchases, property developments, corporate transactions and joint ventures.

Murad regularly advises German medium-sized and DAX-companies on international investments and transactions, in particular in the Middle East and foreign investors and investors inter alia from the Middle East on business activities and investments in Germany and Europe.

  • Representation of a state-owned renewable energy company in the Emirates in the establishment of a joint venture with a Spanish listed multinational power utility to develop and operate a 476 MW offshore wind farm located in the German Baltic Sea valued at approximately EUR1.6bn.
  • Representation a leading global manufacturer and supplier of LED driver products on the acquisition of a business division of a semiconductor manufacturer in Europe and Asia.
  • Advising in connection with the sale of all assets of a German electric car manufacturer. An international private equity company has become the majority shareholder.
  • Representation of a German InsurTech company on the acquisition of a software consulting company.
  • Representation of a property investment company on the approximately EUR 500 million acquisition of 120 grocery-anchored properties. The acquisition is one of the largest portfolio transactions of grocery-anchored properties ever executed in Germany.
  • Representation of a Healthcare Consulting Company on a cooperation for the development and operation of a hospital in Qatar within a local joint venture.
