Alex Carlson

Alex advises private and public companies across a broad range of transactions and governance issues at all stages of the corporate lifecycle. His private company practice primarily focuses on assisting companies with initial formation and early-stage corporate governance, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. He also represents distressed companies that are undergoing restructuring or liquidation and investors with exposure to distressed assets.

Alex helps publicly traded companies to navigate the complex disclosure and compliance requirements of federal securities regulations and stock exchanges such as Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange. He also works with public companies on corporate governance matters and shareholder activism preparedness. Previously an investment banker, Alex enjoys helping his clients manage risk and make decisions at the intersections of law, finance and business strategy.
