DLA Piper with clear ambitions for growth in Norway
Camilla Wollan appointed new country managing partner at DLA Piper in NorwayDLA Piper announces that Camilla Wollan has been appointed Country Managing Partner (CMP) for DLA Piper in Norway starting 1 July 2024. Wollan, who is highly ranked in Chambers Europe, will lead the company's Norwegian and Nordic leadership management teams, covering offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Helsinki, and over 530 lawyers.
The appointment marks the first time DLA Piper has appointed a female CMP in the Nordic region . Since joining the firm in 2010, Wollan has been instrumental in establishing DLA Piper as a market leader in financial technology in Norway. She will now be responsible for implementing DLA Piper's growth strategy across all business areas across the region.
Wollan succeeds Kjetil Haare Johansen, who led the firm across the region for the last three years. Under Johansen’s leadership, the firm has grown at scale, with revenues increasing by NOK100 million.
As Wollan enters the role, her focus will be to transform the firm across the region to one that is innovative, and dynamic, leveraging the firm’s successes across its international business.
