DLA Piper welcomes Alvaro Sarmiento Lapiedra as a partner in the Finance group

DLA Piper is expanding its transactional capabilities in Latin America with the addition of Alvaro Sarmiento Lapiedra as a partner in the firm’s Finance practice in Mexico City.

Sarmiento focuses his practice on banking and finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law. He advises clients on Mexican and international financing, including financing through public offerings, private placements of securities, bank loans and structured financing. Sarmiento also regularly implements private equity transactions, joint ventures and project financing, with an emphasis on Latin America.
